Bowies, Camp Knives, Choppers and Fighters

The chopper was inspired by a Blade magazine article about the knife of Caiaphas Ham, one of Jim Bowie's companions. His knife was a butcher knife. I wanted this to be a chopper with a tip pointy enough for thrusting.
Specs:
1/4" thick 1080 differential heat treat
Flat ground, convex edge blade, 9.5" long
Overall length is about 14.5"
Blade and tang are distal tapered for good balance and light weight.
Spine is rounded and curved for graceful lines and lighter weight.
Point is swedged.
Handles are walnut with nickel silver tube pins.
Price for a similar knife is $500
